Hmmmmm zzzzZZZZzzzz. This is my
brain today, as I compel it to spew out another blog entry. Write something! Write something
creative, you fool, (whiplash) write or else you wont be sleeping tonight!
Brain: but I haven't slept in two nights!. Im too tired…
Write or else you wont be
sleeping anytime soon…
Yes today my readers were 4. Yay!
Yesterday they were 3, it’s a start.
you know what boggles me ? my dead blog has
149 readers…yeah I can envision blog world’s bigwigs rolling their eyes. Hmph 149
I make that in a minute… Hey but that blog was in its early months when I pulled the
trigger. Only 4 posts and the blog’s been dead for nearly a year. How do people
even find it? The only reason it still exists is because I could not find the
delete button. Is there a delete your blog button? Or is blogger like facebook.
Enter and no exit. My search continues…
No I will not be pasting any
link to the other blog. I get embarrassed when I see the readers count is still
rising. It’s like the blog is speaking to me “don’t pull the plug on me, I am
still alive, don’t lose hope in me Shazra” ok now this is sounding really
creepy.
4.15 am and my 15th
fast starts today. Its actually sad; Ramadan just started and in a blink of an
eye half the month is already gone. Why do muslims love fasting, you ask? What is
a Ramadan?
For
those of you who might be a little vague on what Ramadan is. Ramadan is the 9th
month of the al hijri lunar calendar. The holy month where muslims fast, pray
and give abundant charity. It’s the time of greatest blessing when the doors of
heaven are opened and the doors to hell are closed. we are promised multiple
good deeds in return. Imagine if we were playing some rpg game and our good
deeds were coins then Ramadan would be like a cheat code where all the coins
multiplied anywhere between 70x to 1000x.
It's
also the time when the devils are locked away. I really feel calm and at peace
in Ramadan. You cannot compare the calmness the peace and serenity of Ramadan to
any other month.
Peace
is the greatest blessing anyone can have in their lives. May peace be upon you
and your family.
